In Burma the SPDC´s troops’ Human Rights Violations and War Crimes are very well documented.
Particularly in the seven ethnic minority states, it seems that the junta-generals will continue with their Genocide strategy.
How long will the world look on? Spurred by greed almost all neighbouring nations
continue to favour the SPDC genocide regime in it´s attempts to brutalize the oppressed Burmese population into submission.
While the world sleeps on these incidents of human rights violations the population of Burma await the day of deliverance.
Again, compared with the Balkans where the international community, with the use of military intervention stopped the Serbian genocide operations against the Muslim population.
Below are two horrific examples of the human rights abuses committed by the junta troops.
In Karenni State at the village of Ha Lee Ku on April 8 2007, the Free Burma Rangers relief team member Mr. Saw Lee Reh Kyaw was providing humanitarian assistance to the villagers.
Burma army troops of Light Infantry Battalion 427 were patrolling the village.
The Burma troops open fire at Mr. Reh Kyaw and he was badly injured in his leg. Burma troops captured him and took him to the headquarters of LIB 427, where they interrogated and tortured him for 2 days.
Then on 10 April Burma troops executed Mr. Reh Kyaw by shooting him!
This is a war crime punishable under all international laws!
The correct place now for those soldiers of LIB 427 who are responsible for the murder of Mr. Reh Kyaw is in a court-room at the International Criminal Court in the Hague.
In September 2006, Nang Taan Wun just aged 14 was gang-raped and killed by Burma troops from the Light Infantry Battalion 332.
At the girls own house in Pawk Kaad Nawk quarter in Murng Pan township in the Shan State.
What was the reason for the SPDC´s troops to commit that gang-rape and killing of a young Shan girl?
As an ex army ranger, I cannot understand how military personnel can commit
war crimes nightmarish like this!
Burma has been a military dictatorship nation since the year of 1962.
In the year of 2007 it is high time for the international community to take actions strong enough against the military junta generals; to give the oppressed population of Burma, democracy and safety.
