Burma’s Genocide Military Junta in Naypyidaw
The Burmese population has been oppressed by the Burmese military junta since the year of 1962.
Burmese people are suffering daily, but the ethnic and religious minorities are the worst effected by the SPDC regime!
On 18 October 2004 the ‘hardline’ fraction in the army took the power, after that "internal" coup the conditions in Burma are far worse than ever.
Particularly in the 7 ethnical minority states, were the SPDC has increase their occupation forces.
In the Karen State there is about 55 army battalions, were they are committing
large-scale Ethnical Cleansing operations!
SPDC´s forces are really ‘hunting’ the oppressed IDP´s in their hiding places
in the jungle.
Burma army systematically shoot on unarmed Karen civilians with mortars
and heavy machineguns ……. this is Genocide punishable under all available international laws!
This reminds me about the Serbian forces genocide operations on the Balkan.
The difference is that on Balkan the international community took actions strong enough against the Serbian regime in Belgrade .
May 2007 SPDC and Russia ’s atomic energy agency signed an agreement to build a 10 - megawatt Nuclear reactor.
Shall the world believe that SPDC´s nuclear programme is only for research?
It will be a nightmarish treat picture for the future if the Burmese military junta should be in possession of Nuclear Arms!
Unfortunately there is countries who provide Burma with arms and military technology.
Ukraine for example in 2003; they sold 50 T 72 main battle tanks to the Burma army.
In Meiktila the Ukraine state owned arms producer the Kharkiv Morozow has a factory; where Ukraine management and engineers have led the production of 1000 Armoured Personnel Carriers, the Btr 3 - U.
Since the US led invasions of Iraq and Afghanistan , the SPDC junta really expect an US invasion in the future.
That is why SPDC relocate the capitol, from Rangoon to the new constructed city of Naypyidaw .
SPDC has purchase large quantities of arms and military technology over the past 5 years.
Much more of arms than the SPDC forces need when they attempt to fight down the armed resistance.
In ethnic minorities states such as the Shan, Karenni and Karen States ; where the brave freedom fighters defend their mother countries and their oppressed countrymen.
On May 21 2007 on the Shan State Army Day, Colonel Yawd Serk president of the Restoration Council of Shan State said in his speech: "To gain back our country and have fully rights of self-governance, Shan State people have to unify and continue with the armed struggle as other options were failed ".
I agree completely with Yawd Serk’s statement.
It is a shame for the international community that so far no actions strong enough have been taken in modern time against the world’s most brutal military dictatorship regime.
For sure, on the SPDC junta political and economic sanctions is not effective.
We in the free democratic nations have to start to talk with the SPDC regime with the use of language that the junta generals not can misunderstand!
Maybe even to apply some kind of military pressure would be necessary!
