Is that not a face of a Tai?
Your face will not lie
Do not deny your race
Do not deny your identity
What do you believe in?
Who do you believe?
Do you believe what is in your own heart
Or do you believe what they tell you to believe

Our Elders and forefathers
Taught us that we should
Believe in ourselves
Believe in our truth
Believe in one another
Believe the beauty of our nature
Believe in the beauty of our language
Believe in the beauty of our culture
Believe in the love that binds us
Do not throw these away
Just for the ugly lies that keep us safe
But they are still lies

And if we are true Tai
We will not lie to ourselves
Or to each other
Just to keep them happy
We are who we are
No one can deny that
That is the truth
It is in our blood
It is in our soul

Tai will always be Tai
No matter how they try to control us
Our passion is strong
Our fire will blaze
Until the end of time
